What is Killer Core?

KillerCore is a fun, but challenging floor group fitness class to strengthen your core to popular high-energy music. Kind of like if Pilates and Zumba got together and had a baby.

Why choose a Killer Core class?

Recognising a weak core or understanding the benefits of a strong core can be hard  to get your head around until you’re making that transition. Little things like bending over to tie your laces or pick up a child, turning around, housework, gardening and other forms of physical activity all start to become easier. You’ll notice your posture improves and you almost feel like you might be taller. A good posture trims your silhouette and projects confidence. It’s 30 minutes of intense workout to make a real difference to the other 23 hours and 30 minutes of your day.

All fitness levels

All exercises have high and low intensity variations to suit all ranges of fitness. The instructor will always show the less intense version before stepping it up to the harder one.

Standing or sitting for long periods, carrying children and heavy weight training are all made easier when the core is stronger.

KillerCore classes are designed to improve core strength with variations that are safe for all, preventing injuries.

Your favourite songs lift you up to make you work that little bit harder and help you push through the last few counts.

It’s easy to fit in a workout when it’s under 30 mins. Each track focuses on a different element of core strength to provide an entire core workout in half an hour.

WHO CARES ABOUT CORE STRENGTH?

KillerCore is 30 minute core fitness workout.

What is core fitness?

Core fitness involves exercising and strengthening the core muscles which include the abdominals, obliques, mid and lower back, gluteus muscles, hip flexors and adductors. The core muscles support the back, spine and shoulders for balance, posture and power.

Why is it important?

Strengthening core muscles is important because these muscles are involved in a range of daily activities as well as your workout. Standing for long periods, carrying children and heavy weight training are all made easier when the core is stronger. A weak core can also lead to injuries and back problems from lack of support.

What is a KillerCore class?

KillerCore is a fun, but challenging way to strengthen your core to popular high-energy music. Each track focuses on a different element of core strength to provide an entire core workout in 30minutes. All exercises have high and low intensity variations to suit all ranges of fitness and the instructor will always begin by demonstrating the less intense version before giving people the option to attempt the harder ones.
